INTEGRATED CONSTRUCTION MODELING



In line with the recent digitalization of the Construction Industry, we provide integrated construction modeling services as part of our structural design services in which the construction modeling and detailing that otherwise would have been traditionally been made as part of the subcontractor's scope are carried out during the design phases. This process mitigates the potential construction delays and address constructability early prior to site operation, reducing project construction risks and greatly improve the overall construction schedule.



Cast-In-Place & Precast Concrete Modeling & Detailing





Quantity take-offs and consistency of the concrete model against the architectural design intents and the primary supporting structure are crucial in the accuracy of the concrete and precast contractor's work. Our 3D models of cast-in-place concrete and precast concrete units are developed based on the coordinated BIM model used during the design phases appropriate for use by the contractor throughout the project.



3D Steel Members & Connections Model





3D steel structures model are prepared during the design phases and are part of the project delivery during the bid process which allows the steel contractor the purchase of structural steel shapes with the complete Advance Bill of Materials (ABMs) right after the award of the work. With steel connections already included in the delivered coordinated 3D steel structures model, the production of steel shop drawings can also commence immediately, shortening the otherwise long shop drawings review and coordination process.



3D Fully Detailed Steel Model





The project schedule can be further shortened with the preparation of the fully detailed structural steel model which includes erection aids and temporary supports to produce full erection drawings, piece details, field bolt list, NC files in DSTV format for fabrication and all other elements in the production full shop drawings.



MCGINLEY STUDENT CENTER EXPANSION



Fordham University, New York





As the centerpiece for Fordham University’s new campaign dedicated to enhancing the overall student experience, the new campus center will be bigger, both literally and in concept, than its current incarnation. The first phase of the project entails the construction of a roughly 75,000-square-foot addition in the area in front of the existing McGinley Center. The sleek glass and stone addition will be connected to the existing structure via a two-story glass arcade, with elevated walkways between the two buildings. The glass canopy-topped main entrance will beckon visitors into an airy space between the Rose Hill Gym and the new addition.



CALLEN LORDE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Prepared the full steel fabrication model (shop drawings) for the alteration work involving steel roof dunnage and new steel for interior structural modifications in the Health Center Expansion Project at W 18th Street, New York, NY. Fabrication steel model and shop drawing preparation were carried out using Tekla.
