Provided building envelope design and consulting services including Hygrothermal Analysis to assess the risk of condensation and mold growth in the surfaces of the critical layers of the proposed building envelope. Performed thermal and full building energy performance analyses to optimize glazing and building envelope design.

The project required full building energy performance simulation modeling in accordance with ASHRAE Section 11 for 2020 NYCECC Energy Modeling + Envelope Backstop compliance. Architectural design intents include large glazed areas and walkable roof skylights for the project. Ai-Alt recommended energy efficiency measures (EEMs) relative to building envelope design, construction materials, passive strategies, equipment, and mechanical systems as a result of the whole-building analitical simulations for 8,760 hourly calculations for every hour of an entire year.
